The city’s ballparks that have hosted such stars as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bob Feller, Tony La Russa, Ryne Sandberg, Satchel Paige, and Buck O’Neil are also chronicled.

A lawyer by day, and writer by night, Vincent Miceli ’91 is the author of The Last Triceracorn fantasy book series for children and young adults. The books were inspired by his own daughters, Matea and Luciana, who enjoyed the magical adventure stories their father told them when they were younger and persuaded him to write a book to capture his amazing adventures for other children.
